What makes up your score
01
Verified competence
The biggest part of your score. Pros review the portfolio items you share against a checklist and rate what they see. Only rated work counts. Reviews from Pros who work in your field, and Pros who don't know you personally, carry more weight than reviews from friends or colleagues.
02
Consistency
Rewards steady, recent proof over time. Fresh reviews and updated work keep this strong. Long gaps with no new evidence weaken it.
03
Role fit
How naturally your persona results suit the focus role you chose. It is the smallest part of the score and never blocks you from any role. If your persona is missing or over a year old, this part carries less weight or is left out.
What raises it
- Add strong, real work to your portfolio and keep it current.
- Get reviews from different Pros. Your score unlocks once two different Pros have reviewed you.
- Ask Pros in your field, and Pros who don't know you personally, for the most weight.
- Post an open request so any verified Pro can pick up your work.
- Complete your persona and choose a focus role so role fit counts.
What holds it back
- Inactivity: with no new reviews or updates, your score slowly fades until you add fresh evidence.
- An out-of-date persona: after 12 months role fit loses weight until you retake it.
- Removed reviews: reviews found to be dishonest are removed and your score is recalculated.
- An inactive account: when a subscription lapses the profile is frozen and comes off the leaderboard until you resubscribe.
Your role fit and persona results
Based on the replies you capture across several persona surveys, Lumina shows the roles and working environments that seem most conducive to your natural strengths. As you learn and grow each day, these results change too, which is why we ask for a persona update every year.
Your survey answers and personality results are never shared. Pros, employers and visitors to your public profile only see the closest fit in each area, never your answers or percentages.
Fair play
- Each person may hold only one account per role.
- Two people can't swap reviews: once one has reviewed the other, the reverse review is blocked.
- Nobody can review their own work from a second account.
- Every score change is recorded, so it can be checked and explained.
